CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be curious, ask questions, seek feedback, and apply what you learn
- Collaborate with civil engineers, landscape architects, and designers on a variety of site development projects
- Learn about and participate in all aspects of project team coordination
- Develop site engineering skills, including grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility systems in accordance with Maryland regulations
- Contribute to the production of land development drawings, details, specifications, and permit applications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university in pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with AutoCAD; exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Desire to learn about Maryland stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design, permitting, and land development regulations

CIVIL / SITE DESIGNER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with civil engineers, landscape architects, and designers on a variety of site development projects
- Support projects from concept through construction while managing schedules, budgets, and quality
- Prepare site/civil construction documents, specifications, and permit applications
- Design grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility systems in accordance with Maryland regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience with a civil engineering or multidisciplinary design firm preferred
- FE/EIT certification and/or active pursuit of professional licensure
- Experience with Maryland stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design, permitting, and land development regulations
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Collaborate with civil engineers, landscape architects, and designers on a variety of site development projects
- Lead projects from concept through construction while managing schedules, budgets, and quality
- Prepare and oversee site/civil construction documents, specifications, and permit applications
- Design grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility systems in accordance with Maryland regulations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to client relationships and business development
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with a civil engineering or multidisciplinary design firm preferred
- Professional licensure or active pursuit of licensure
- Experience with Maryland stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design, permitting, and land development regulations
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
