Ace Mentoring 2017: Celebrating Success!
2017 brought Site Resources together with students from Redeemer Classical Christian School to participate in the ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) Mentor Program. The team focused on the modernization of Langsdale Library on the University of Baltimore campus.
Capping the semester-long program was the presentation by each of the seven Baltimore Chapter teams of their design solution for the project, demonstrating how each group approached the creation of a concept plan, building program, and design elements. The 2017 Redeemer team was awarded first place by the professional judging panel. Students in the program gained valuable insight into careers in the design and construction industries, while honing their analytical and collaboration abilities.
The ACE Mentor Program offers high school students a hands-on introduction to future careers in architecture, construction and engineering. For more information and to become a mentor please visit the following links.
